52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks - Week 6 - Earning a Living

Most of my Ancestors were farmers; but as I have researched I have found teamsters, ministers, and many served in the military at some point in their lives. I have a 2x Great-grandfather who was a farmer but heard God call him to the ministry so he became a Baptist preacher. Further back, my Burchett and Applegate ancestors were some of the founders of the Thompson Settlement Baptist Church.  I would say that overall, farming has been the life and occupation for most of my family.
