52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks - Week 21 - This week’s theme is “Brick Wall”

Brick Wall Ancestors. Oh boy!! Yes, I have several ancestral lines with brick walls. The first is Evan Jones, my 5x Great Grandfather. Evan’s Last Will and Testament is recorded in Will Book B, Page 80 written 14 October 1821. His will lists all of his children and his wife. I believe he was born about 1757, possibly in North Carolina and Married Margaret Baker, he is named in her father’s will, about 1777. He died sometime after his will was written on 14 October 1821. Except for the Will, none of the dates have been proved and I haven’t found anything yet about his parents or siblings. There is certainly more work to do.

Other lines that are stuck are the Johnson, Cunningham, Goins, Lawson, Stanley, and Burchett. I am looking forward to breaking down all these walls as my ultimate goal is to trace back each of my eight great-grandparents to those eight immigrant ancestors.
