52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks – Week 24 – This Week’s Theme is “Last One Standing”

Amy’s prompt for this week is “…there are some ancestors that we research, and we feel like we are the only ones researching them.” For me this is my Jones family.  Because Jones is one of the most common names in the United States, finding and following the correct family has been, and continues to be, one of my most challenging lines.  Specifically, when looking for the wife of the second Lewis P. Jones, Catherine (Boggs) Jones, I feel like I’m floating out there by myself.  I believe I need to step back and re-evaluate all the information I know about this family unit and try to follow their migration from Tennessee to Missouri. It’s an interesting dilemma to be sure.

Until Next Time.

Happy Hunting!
